Up for auction is a vintage Compur folding camera and accessories.   The camera for its age appears to be in good conditions.  It uses single pieces of film in cassettes rather than a roll of film.  The camera is complete and appears to work,  I am selling it as a collectable or display item, not as a working camera.  The mechanics of the camera  appear to be made of excellent material.  The craftmanship is outstanding.  It is what a collector would expect of pre WWII Germany craftmanship. The hard camera case is covered with black leather and lined with purple velvet.  The outer portion of the top of the case has come off, but all the pieces are there.  The leather is not damaged.  The stitching broke and came out.  I believe it could be easily put back together by cobbler, saddle maker or by anyone who can sew leather.  The half inch strap has broken and probably needs to be replaced. The accessories consist of a flash bulb holder,  2 film cassettes mark "KODAK" , a device labeled Automatic Synchronizer Kalart Speed Flash and several misc parts and pieces.  Most of the lenses and filters are vintage and are in bakelite cases and leather case.  There is a clear Omega lense in a leather case, a Zeiss, Ikon 37mm Nr. 995/46 .07x lense in a bakelite holder, a Optochrom Ecran Lightfilter in a bakalite case.  It appears to be discolored, another Optochrom filter that looks ok.  It is also in a bakalite case and clear ( appears unused)  Gold Heritage Ednalite coated solid optical glass filter.  Some of l the accessories and lenses probably do not go with this camera.  They were in the box with the camera that my client brought to me to sell, so they are being sold together.  I am not a camera person so the accessories, extra lenses and filters may be a real treasure or they may be just trash.  However, the camera and case would make a nice addition to a vintage camera collection.  Postage is $6.00.  I am happy to combine purchases.
