The Gitzo G320 tripod is a sturdy alloy setup with 3 section legs and reversible 2 section center column. Legs will splay all the way out to horizontal. Center stud is threaded 1/4" and 3/8" Closed length is 28" and max standing hight is 72" One of the legs is dented towards the bottom (see photo) and can sometimes effect it's extending (could be replaced but I never chose to and still used it).
