Beautiful original item in VG working order, as it is now! All original with correct carry case. Fits in pocket easily. The whole item is only about 3" x 2 1/2" x 1". Item has a sliding cover (operates like a roll-top desk lid) which opens up to let the meter work, and and adjustable sliding scale for the read-out using the turning knob on one side. All very easy to use and great little item. Made in West Germany (it says "Germany (West)" on one side) probably early 1960's. Hard to tell if it is bakelite or plastic, but I think the body IS white bakelite and the sliding cover plastic, if that makes sense? It has lost its carry strap which would have hung onto the small brass loop at one end and also out through the hole provided in the carry case too. Case has a working brass zip mounted on vinyl, but is showing wear to the edges etc. Still shuts OK.  Embossed with the name "SIXTOMAT" on the case, which is made from real leather on the main outer surfaces.  This was obviously a quality item when new, and still works .. a testament to that!!  The brass sides are in GC .. cleaned up well AFTER the pics were taken .. greenish hue seen ALL came off!  It has a small opening item on one side too, which says 'colour finder' .. cannot work that out .. sorry!   NICE item .. lots of fun to play with!!  Good Luck!
